We strive to bring you (our customers) the highest quality products at the lowest prices.

Acceptance of Contract Terms

The following are the terms of a legal agreement between you and EngineGuy. By accessing, browsing, or using this internet web site, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this web site.

Coupons & Promotions

Coupon codes may be entered at checkout for discounts when applicable. Usage of coupons is limited to one coupon per order. There is no Return -Rebuy.

Backorders

Items on backorder will take an estimated 5-10 business days.

Merchandise Returns

Merchandise purchased from EngineGuy may be returned within 7 days if found to be defective in manufacture or unsuitable for use as described on our web site. Returns for any other reason are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Any such merchandise MUST be returned exactly as received and uninstalled, including original packaging. Shipping and return shipping charges are not refundable (In the event of a "Free Shipping" coupon or promotion, the shipping fee of $200 is non-refundable. To receive return authorization and instructions, please contact us by email at returns@engineguy.com.

Credit Card Processing Fee

All complete refunds, regardless of circumstance, are subject to a $99 credit card processing fee unless purchased with PayPal and return is completed within 30 days.

Shortages or Damages

Any shortages or damages must be reported to EngineGuy immediately upon receipt of merchandise (within 10 days of ship date). Any damaged merchandise MUST be returned exactly as received, including original packaging. Shipping and return shipping charges are not refundable. Shipping

We strive to ship to your location within 3 business days. However, it may take longer. Also, any delivery estimates on backordered items are just estimates, not guarantees.

Errors and Omissions

EngineGuy reserves the right to correct or refuse any sale that is the result of an error or omission. This includes but is not limited to errors in price and shipping amounts. A price or shipping weight/cost of zero should automatically be regarded as an error. Please report any errors or omissions to returns@engineguy.com.

Limitation Of Liability

Liability on all purchases is limited to a full refund of the invoice amount. This includes refunds for damaged or missing items at time of receipt, items not in stock at time of order, and items returned due to shipper error.  EngineGuy assumes no liability for the performance of items sold, and all warranties are limited to those of the manufacturer(s) of the item(s) received.

Credit card orders are billed via PayPal. See our PayPal policy below.

PayPal

PayPal will charge your account immediately. We will refund you the amount of any items that are not in stock. Refunds are usually issued with 24 hours. In the event of any shortage due to shipping differences, we reserve the right to request any difference needed to complete the order. Late cancellations/refunds may be subject to an incoming charge from PayPal on the returned balance.

US Use Only

This site is intended for use by residents of the United States. EngineGuy makes no representation that materials on this site are appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions, and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

ENGINEGUY CORE RETURN POLICY

The EngineGuy engine/transmission program is designed as a one-for-one exchange program.

Customers are required to return the same year and displacement engine or same year and tag number of transmission as purchased. The amount of engines or transmissions returned must equal the amount purchased.

All cores returned are subject to a handling fee of $50.
Cores are not accepted after 30 days. After 30 days, If EngineGuy opts to accept core, Customer is responsible for shipping (pick up is $100 in addition to the handling fee).

Allow 20 business days from Core pickup to the issuance of any core refund.

LONG BLOCK/TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLIES

Return Guidelines:

For 100% core credit

1. Core must be returned in original packaging or no credit will be issued.

2. Core must be fully assembled and to the same build level as the replacement engine or transmission.

3. Core must be visually remanufacturable.

4. Core must be returned with completed CORE RETURN AUTHORIZATION TAG properly attached.

30% core credit will be issued for:

1. Core not returned in original packaging.

2. Core not fully assembled and to the same build level as the replacement product.

3. Core has a visible cracked block or head, broken rods or mains, cracked or broken transmission case any of which deem the product to be NOT remanufacturable.

TORQUE CONVERTERS

Must be returned WITH the transmission
Must be the torque converter compatible with the transmission
There will be a $75 fee for missing or incompatible torque converters

NOTE: All cores returned must be properly identified as full or partial credit on attached CORE

RETURN AUTHORIZATION TAG.

Return Procedure

Tag the core

Call the number included with delivery packet you are transferred to a voice mail leave your message.

We will ask for the engine serial number and your fax number or email address

Do you need a lift gate?

Can't find the Return Phone #? Email cores@engineguy.com or Call : Extension 103 with your serial # and pickup availability!

EngineGuy will dispatch the freight company to pick up the core
